    Basic clean room and bathroom.

The name of this hotel is totally misleading. This is more of a 'rooms for rent' set up than a 'resort'. Our room was on a neglected side street littered with empty bottles and rubbish. The swimming pool is in a semi public park and is smaller than most fountains in the town. It was not fit for bathing when we visited. All said, the room itself was basic but clean and the air conditioning functioning. Overpriced for what it is.

Our room was very clean, and the bathroom was very cool. It was extremely convenient to park in the large lot very close to the rooms.

Honestly, it was very smelly. And pretty creepy. The room smelled slightly moldy. It is in a questionable area. We did not feel comfortable leaving valuables in the room. We were traveling with two women, and their toilet overflowed immediately upon arrival. The mess was cleaned up and the issue was resolved, but the room continued to smell. The "wired" Internet was an Ethernet cable that stuck out about one foot from the wall. It didn't reach a desk or even a chair. It was completely unacceptable. The wifi only reaches the reception area, and the solution we were offered was, "most people bring an extension cable for the Internet." I have a feeling most people wouldn't have the first clue of where to even purchase an Ethernet extension cable, much less bring one with them.

the room was dark and gloomy. The hotel was hard to find. The grounds had not been maintained. No real information available in the room. No wi-fi access available for ipad users and the pc based internet didn't work.

The hotel is in ancient beautiful buildings in a great part of town.

The room was nice, it seemed the city was a bit of a dissappointment

Accom was in the medieval city, ten mins walk from the papal palace through safe streets. The pool/terrace was an unexpected bonus. Free parking 2 mins walk from accom. Friendly greeting from quirky but efficient receptionist. Rooms were clean and large with nice en-suites. Good value and great location if you want to visit the old city. We'd return again and again.

Small things such as my bedside light not having a shade. Little bit of attention to detail would enhance the offering.

The staff were incredibly helpful, and stayed late (well past midnight) to enable us to check in as we were running ridiculously late, arriving at half one in the morning! We even received a telephone call to see if we were okay owing to our delays. The room we stayed in was a small apartment with period features rather than 'just a hotel room' and looked brilliant. It also had air conditioning which was a godsend. The owner is an absolutely bonkers and very animated lady who rambled on in Italian attempting to mime everything she was trying to tell us in between talking to the ducks in the courtyard who she referred to as her babies. She's mental. All I could understand was 'Cappuccino' (which she was very insistent that everyone drank at breakfast, and it was delicious) and that she may or may not have originally hailed from Poland before settling in Italy many years ago. In any case, she and the other staff were really accommodating and friendly, even if the owner is borderline insane. In a good way, of course. 10 out of 10 from us!

    Everything was perfect, no complaints!

This place is too cool to be described. If we had not had our navi we never could have found it. We have never stayed at a place this unique before. I highly recommend it.

No one speaks English, French, or German. Only Italian.

    Good

After reading my ‘didn’t likes' you would wonder why I stayed here but in a strange way it was kind of quirky & different. I got to stay behind a walled city for once. Ladies in reception helpful although no English, really. Changed my TV that didn’t work. Gratis coffee for breakfast both mornings. Tania carried my bag a way for me & was lovely. Christina seems to be stressed & tended to be abrasive at times. I had an ‘apartment’ with a kitchen but didn’t use it. Not far to bars & restaurants thru cobbled streets. Had photos & a hug with both ladies at the end. Room very clean. Apparently the restaurant is quite good.

Firstly, you don’t really need to visit Viterbo so you don’t need accommodation!! As I was driving to this paradise resort, that I gleaned from the description, there was graffiti everywhere & the buildings are old & crumbly, not maintained. The ‘resort’ is all in different buildings in the street. They have obviously taken a few apartments & called them a resort, along with the ‘beautiful’ gardens that you enter separately, again through a locked gate. The photos make it look lovely, even my photos. The pool size is extremely small & looks like it was a crypt to a burial plot in another life but it was still quite cute for a few people to be in. Didn’t eat there but the restaurant tables outside were set up nicely & the bottled wine was cheap & good. Didn’t choose to pay for the brekky but it looked scarce. I still can’t believe I stayed there!! People in town not that friendly either.

    Superb

Gorgeous room with loads of character, lovely strong shower, the garden was very nice, Christina at reception was lovely and welcoming, It's location in the best part of the medieval quarter. Nice towels and sheets. Lots to recommend it. I would stay there again. I would say though that the pool is smaller than it looks in the pictures and the address is confusing. Keep going in from the port past via pianoscarano and over the bridge the street numbering only goes to 32 and it's before the beginning in any case.

Very odd person at reception - seemed hostile to some of the guests - rooms were shabby and dirty - breakfast was awful. It could be a nice place properly run - but not currently recommended.

perfectly located for visiting the old town of Viterbo. Charming rooms in a castel like building. Good restaurant with very nice garden.

Cleaning could be improved as well as the smel of the rooms - probably the later is due to the ancient building

    Good

Love the location. Love the building. Felt secure. Love the restaurant.

While our room felt very clean, unfortunately we discovered bedbugs in the room. This lead to a very uncomfortable second night knowing that they were there. We have to have all of our luggage professionally treated before we can bring our clothes back into our home.

    Superb

The hotel has been created out of several old houses within the walled city of Viterbo, and is within walking distance of the city centre. The bedroom was well-decorated, clean and comfortable, although somewhat sparsely furnished. It was on the first floor, which had been inserted as a extra floor within the building with the result that some of the windows were at floor level! The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was served in a room giving access to a lovely garden. One of the benefits is the large car park, although it is somewhat difficult to access.

The hotel is difficult to find. You need a detailed local map; Google Maps is not very helpful. The narrow, cobbled streets within the old city do not help in getting to the hotel by car. However it is worth the effort when you find it.
